About Us

Our Mission To Preserve Y Vo Vietnam

The Y Vo Vietnam Association is a non-profit organisation bringing together physicians, martial masters, and sports scientists to preserve the nation's tendon-and-bone healing heritage and improve the natural physical health of the Vietnamese people.

Founding History

Y Vo Vietnam (Y Vo Dong Nguyen) was developed over thousands of years of history defending and building the nation. Our ancestors distilled combat techniques against foreign invaders alongside native herbal remedies, therapeutic tinctures, and acupoint release methods to treat the injured.

In 2024, the Y Vo digitisation project was launched by the Martial Arts Institute and Master Vo Khai Nghiep, with the aspiration to make qigong learning materials and a support directory freely available to the community through an online portal.

Vision & Mission

Scientising the heritage: We do not rely on mystical legend — we study Y Vo on the foundation of anatomy, movement biomechanics, and native traditional medicine that has been clinically proven effective.

For the community: The Association provides free qigong curricula, a free breathing-rhythm pacer, and serves as a bridge connecting people in need with expert physicians for musculoskeletal treatment support.

Core Values

Verified Expertise

Every herbal-remedy document or joint-manipulation technique is rigorously reviewed and medically vetted by highly qualified physicians.

Non-Profit

We do not sell courses or profit from patients. All in-kind sponsorship contributions are disclosed with 100% transparency.

Community Together

We build a tightly connected network across generations of martial masters, young physicians, and everyone who loves the nation's traditional medicine.
